Who we are
Jason Bowdach, CSI
Jason Bowdach, CSI, founded PixelTools in 2018. A Los Angeles–based professional colorist, his credits span Netflix, Amazon, Fox, Google, and Disney. Outside the suite, Jason serves on the board of the Colorist Society Hollywood and is a Blackmagic Design Certified Trainer.
What began as a set of PowerGrade presets Jason built for his own sessions has grown into a library of color tools trusted by thousands of colorists worldwide — working across streaming, cinema, and broadcast.
Kaur Hendrikson, CSI
In 2025, Kaur Hendrikson, CSI, joined the team, and his acclaimed "KaurH" tools were brought under the PixelTools banner. A colorist, Digital Imaging Specialist, and educator, Kaur specializes in developing custom color tools — bringing a second perspective and deep technical expertise to the catalog.
Today, every PixelTools customer has access to both libraries from a single source.
