Vol. 1 PowerGrade Collection

This is the best powergrade collection that one can buy. I just recently purchased it and used it on my latest YouTube video and it is stellar. It is simple enough for me to use and has a lot of different looks for the price, plus you get a whole bunch of LUTs too

I like how it is fully customizable, so I can tweak each look based on my taste and needs. It's been very interesting to learn how the looks were built. I've been utilizing RGB-mixer much more in look development after exploring this package. I'm very curious to see how the upcoming PowerGrade package has evolved.

The Vol. 1 PowerGrade Collection was the last PixelTools item that was missing in my collection and now, thanks to the offer, I have completed my "collection". I just started to play a little with some of the PowerGrades included and my first impression is that, as usual with PixelTools, also in this case you will receive a big help in improving and make faster your grades. No need to mention that in the collection you will find a Power Grade that surely fit in every kind of job you have to do. There is lot of flexibility and it is clear, as always with Jason stuff, that everything was built based on Color Science so these are Power Grades from professionals for professionals. It always warming when you find people that share their love for a profession with others, and this is exactly what Jason does with us. Thanks PixelTools and keep going!

Buyingg another dctl I got this one for free! I'm now editing my honeymoon, shot with a camcorder in REC709. The grades work like a charm with rec709. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer support ! The power grades work but not always as expected. They all seem to be designed to work within a rec 709 environment. Nodes are include to convert from Davinci Intermediate and Davinci Wide Gamma to the grade node in rec 709 and back again. You can modify these nodes to change from other sources. Arri log conversion nodes are also included. The preview does not always show accurately depending on what I nodes and correction I have previously set up.
The written installation instructions do not match the video, though both work. I found the video easier to follow.
On the whole a good and useful product, you will need some previous knowledge of Resolve to get the most out of it.

This powergrade collection gives a good starting point for making creative choices and giving my video a film-look vibe. I get good results with the looks this powergrade offers because they don't break the image. It's a quick and convenient solution that gives me a good starting point for adding other tools.

These tools make my work easier, as I don't use Resolve color management, I look through my library of presets to quickly build a look. Just a few minor tweaks and I am on my way. These help me find my overall creative look quickly, and I am off to passes on each shot.

Not sure what I was expecting…. I’m a fairly experienced colourist and am always keen to expand my knowledge, but didn’t really find anything here useful. I decomposed the nodes and found it was all fairly basic stuff I do anyway on my own node trees. Sorry guys! The last time I was truly impressed was with the finishing LUTs supplied by Lens Distortions which are beautifully crafted. I think I was hoping these would be the same, but with some adjustments possible, which of course LUTs can’t do.

This was definitely the best decision I’ve made in terms of color grading. Ives spent a lot of money on luts, and never been able to achieve anything close to a professional look. With this it was instant, more importantly learning how to adjust nodes and craft my own load was incredibly easy. I look forward to experimenting with grades now :)

Powergrades is one of the best color enhancement tools available. It's not just LUTs, the node trees allow full customization and offer a collection of classic color grading techniques. I've tried other color enhancement tools, but none as versatile as this. It's an excellent value.

Setup your camera color space, adjust temperature and you can choose a bunch of different professional looks; with delicate handling of colors and dynamics. In addition you get a deep insight how to adress demanding grading tasks in DaVinci. I use the Collection in every project.

This is by far the easiest tool to use to whip through post production and dang good results at that.

Yeah it’s really nice. Probably the best powergrade collection I’ve downloaded. I still prefer to do things from scratch, but in the odd time where a client wants to cycle through some looks I think it will be a really nice addition:)

Easy to use for a beginner colorist like myself!

As much as the PixelTools Vol. 1 PowerGrade will speed up your grading process it will also educate you, because - as many other reviewers wrote - they are not just LUTs, but node trees that use DaVinci’s very own tools. This way you will see how you can use the tools and what they do. Additionally you can tweak them to your own taste. Very much worth it!

Very simple to use. I gives many choices and variations that I can choose from. I'm not using it for all projects but on some it is a time-saver.

PixelTools Vol. 1 PowerGrade Collection is almost everything you need while color grading. Easy to install and use.

Having recently bought the DCTL pack and receiving the Powergrade Collection Vol. 1 I can certainly see that I will use them in some of my projects going forward. They are well laid out and easy to install using the supplied DR project. There are certainly more than enough to choose from to suit anyone's creative requirements for projects they may have.

I am a newbie to color grading and editing process. I edit Christian music videos of my church. After getting the powergrade collection package, I used it in my latest project and it was really a game changer for me. It made my work to look more professional. I am also using the exposure collection package to properly expose my shot and then add the powergrade look at the end of my flow. I heard comments that it looks very clear and professional looking. Thanks for the tool and it greatly reduced my workflow time.
